Paper submission Guidelines
All submissions must be original and must not be under concurrent consideration
or scheduled for presentation elsewhere.
In order to avoid scheduling conflicts, presenters are limited to one formal
paper as primary author. However, a presenter may also contribute as a joint
author of another paper.
Submissions are invited for papers, panels,
workshops, posters/demonstrations, and corporate
showcases/demos. For details on the submission process please click on the

Papers may be submitted as reports or case studies of significant work in research, development
and applications related to aspects of the conference topics.
To submit a paper for the conference you should submit a short proposal since
an abstract alone is not sufficient to be evaluated.
Submission proposal length: 800 words maximum.

Presentation time: 1 hour

It is expected that participants submitting a proposal for a panel will undertake
full responsibility for convening the panel, including a chair/moderator. Members
are to present their views or perspective on an issue related to one of the
topics of the conference for discussion with the audience.
Please note the presentation time allotted is only 1 hour, which includes at
least 15 minutes for discussion. In your proposal kindly indicate how you will
be allocating your time. It is suggested that you should have no more than three
(3) presenters on the Panel and no less than two presenters. The entire panel,
including the chair, should be no less than three (3) persons and no more than
four (4) persons. The Chair will be responsible for opening the session, introducing
the panelists, moderating the discussions and closing the session.
Panelists may represent the same institution however they should express varied
viewpoints on the topic to encourage interesting debate.
Evaluation Criteria for Panel Proposal submissions
- Relevance of the topic to the conference
- Originality
- Expertise of the panelists
- The potential for interesting,engaging and informative discussion
Guidelines for Proposal
- A list of the panelists and a 100 word biography on each panelist highlighting
his/her qualifications and area of expertise
- An introduction that links the title of the Panel to the themes of the
conference
- An outline of how the panel will be organized.
- The Panel abstracts will only appear in the conference Abstract book if
they are submitted by the deadline date.

Presentation time: 2-3 hours

Tutorials and Workshops are intended to provide hands-on technical training
or to enhance the skills of participants in an area related to eLearning. Submissions
will be selected on the basis of the instructors' qualifications and experience
in teaching the proposed Tutorial or Workshop, the relevance to the conference
and the resources required.
Tutorial/Workshop proposals must include:
- Clear description of the objectives
- Intended audience (experience level and prerequisites)
- Proposed length (2-3 hours)
- 800-word outline of the content
- Profile of the Instructor including qualifications and experience in teaching
the area identified

Poster/Demonstration sessions enable participants such as non-governmental
organizations, educational institutions and researchers to display and discuss
their latest research and publications. Please ensure you complete the correct
registration for this type of presentation since different fees apply. ( Link

Poster/Demonstration proposals must include:
- Description of the planned Poster/Demonstration
- Why the work is important
Submission proposal length: 200 words
Equipment provided: 4'x8' poster board, 6' table, 2 chairs, electricity.
Poster/Demonstration presenters will be required to arrange for their own systems
software and hardware.

This will enable businesses to demonstrate and discuss their company's products,
services, developments, applications and research. Please ensure you complete
the correct registration for this type of presentation since different fees
apply.
Submission proposal length: 200 words
Equipment provided: 4'x8' poster board, 6' table, 2 chairs, electricity
Corporate Demonstration presenters will be required to arrange for their own
systems software and hardware.

To ensure that high quality, professional proceedings are published, authors
are urged to take special care in preparing their papers. Please ensure you
follow the author guidelines on the IJEDICT website
Notes:
Papers which are submitted in technically unsuitable form cannot be published
in the proceedings book or on the CD-ROM.
The Conference Proceedings will be internationally distributed by UWI and will
be available both in hard copy book and electronic (CD-ROM) formats. The CD-ROM
version (Macintosh, IBM, and ISO 9660 formats) will be distributed at the end
of the Conference.
The Conference review policy requires that each paper proposal is screened
before presentation at the conference for publication in the proceedings book,
and CD-ROM proceedings.
